HOW TO INSTALL?

+Solar Panel

The first step in installing a solar power system is mounting the solar panels to your roof. Rigid panels typically get affixed with mounts, whereas flexible panels can be mounted with screws or an adhesive.

+Charge Controller

Mount your charge controller close to the battery and in an easily accessible location, so you can minimize your power loss and access it when needed. Use a multimeter to test your cable’s polarity and proceed with connecting it to your battery.

+Inverter

(OPTIONAL)

You’ll need to install an inverter if you want to run AC appliances such as laptops, blenders, portable refrigerators, etc. When mounting the Inverter, choose a location near the batteries and away from heat.

+Battery

(OPTIONAL)

Adding extra batteries to your system will help store the energy produced by your solar panel system. Commonly used are the AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat), and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries.
